Then the price will all of a sudden go up. Loved it but really hated the external power supply with this special connector. What I'm scared of is getting it working right in front of him. Not the PC2, but I own and still use the Micro Ensemble 2 yrs Report. To further complicate matters, he's lost the PSU, so I'll have to see about bumming one.
Anyone happen to know what the voltage should read on the ribbon jack coming out of the power board, and which pins to measure? I would think that if it's getting juice coming off of the power board, and into the next board, that it will be an expensive fix. And I'll go over all the ribbon connectors. I'll try to meter it after the switch too. I'll check where the PSU plugs in at, and meter it there.
Happy owner of a PC2x still functional for almost 20 years I decided to update. He said he has a couple other people coming to look at it, but if they can't offer more than me, he'd call me back.Īfter talking with a few other folks too, I am going to go back and look a little further. Includes sustain pedal, USB cable, external power supply (15V DC), power cord.
If I knew exactly what the problem was, and that it would be a cheap and easy fix, the most I could pony up right now is $300, but of course I didn't tell him that.
